Employee Participation
StraitNZ recognises the most successful workplace safety management programmes include active Employee involvement and joint accountability.
We achieve this by encouraging all Employees to participate in Health and Safety Management through two forums:
| 1 | Depot Health and Safety Teams and regular meetings. |
| 2 | Company Health and Safety Committee and quarterly meetings. |
These two forums have been put in place to:
 | Ensure every Employee has ongoing opportunities to be involved and have their interests represented in the development and evaluation of safe workplace practices. |
| Facilitate open communication between Management and Employees. |
