Safe Loading and Unloading
 | You are required to load your unit in accordance with the New Zealand Truck Loading Code which is available on the tablet. |
| You must follow the instructions of the loaders at all times. |
| You must adhere to the Exclusion Zones whilst loading or unloading and obey the instructions given by the forklift/hoist driver. |
| You must never unstrap or unchain your whole load at once. If you drive a curtain side truck, caution should always be observed when opening a curtain as the contents may have moved in transit, and may not always be obvious from the outside. |
| Safety cages MUST be used when working at height, this includes accessing mez floors and all freight above 1.2m. |
| When working on the top of your load, a hard hat and chin strap must be worn and where possible, an observer must be present. Ensure your vehicle is parked more than 1.2m away from any structure. |
